Why Join A Group
At first, the idea of participating in a group might seem intimidating. Who wants to share their story with strangers? You can share as much or as little as you want. Group can be very beneficial. In fact, participants are often surprised by how rewarding their experience can be. Groups meet for 1 hour to one hour and 30 minutes. All groups are held outside at the farm, or in the barn. Our groups are closed, which means you must join the group from the start date, you can not join after the group has started. Each week we build on skills and information that was provided the week before.

You stole who I was and placed self doubt into my mind. You left me questioning my value. I’m at war every day trying to dilute the toxic shame you feed. My state of being is in constant turmoil, I don’t know who I am any more. That’s a difficult place to be. In order to have a healthy relationship you first need to recover yourself. Our program gives you the tools and support to discover all those wonderful strengths and attributes you have hidden.

Neurodiverse equine therapy is a therapeutic approach tailored to individuals with neurodevelopmental differences, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, and other related conditions. This form of therapy uses interactions with horses to promote emotional, social, and cognitive development in a calm, non-judgmental environment.
The therapy works by leveraging the natural sensitivity of horses to human emotions and body language, helping neurodiverse individuals improve communication skills, self-regulation, and emotional awareness. Horses can mirror a person’s emotional state, offering immediate, non-verbal feedback that helps individuals learn to manage anxiety, focus on the present moment, and develop empathy.

If left unresolved can cause serious health issues both physically and emotionally. This is common after experiencing a bad relationship or even unresolved issues from childhood. Change can be scary and difficult, but it is so worth it. As your Trauma Recovery Coach, we will create a plan and get excited about what the future holds for you.
The group is a 10-weeks program where we learn how to trust again, heal our lost emotions, find self-compassion, and be comfortable having our voices heard. Groups are typically six to eight participants that meet once a week. Call for more information 828-330-4152
