Hi there! I’m Julie Dollar, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and student intern passionate about helping people find balance, peace, and strength in their lives. Whether you’re facing tough times or looking to grow personally, I’m here to support you with care and understanding.

About Me

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I combine professional training with a warm, approachable style to meet you where you are. Currently, as a student intern, I’m deepening my expertise under supervision, ensuring I bring both fresh perspectives and proven methods to our work together.

I believe counseling is a partnership. My approach is tailored to your needs, blending empathy, active listening, and practical strategies to help you achieve your goals. My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

Services Offered

Individual Counseling: Support for managing anxiety, depression, grief, or other emotional challenges.

Grief Group: Monday Evenings registration is required.

Personal Growth: Guidance for self-discovery, confidence, and life transitions.

Sessions are offered either in-person or online, based on what works best for you.

My job is to guide you with compassion and practical tools, helping you uncover your strengths and navigate your path forward. I’m committed to fostering a trusting, respectful environment where healing and growth can happen naturally.

Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)

Supervisor – Offering supervision for Interns and LCMHC-A

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach to counseling that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, CBT empowers you to develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. It’s effective for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and more, offering tools you can use in everyday life to feel better and take control.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Skill-building for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.

Individual Counseling: Support for anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, trauma, and more.

Emotional Wellness: Tools to navigate stress, life transitions, and self-discovery.

Sessions are available in person or via telehealth, based on your preference and schedule. I have morning spots open or early afternoon. I accept some insurance. Reach out to see if we accept yours.

Equine assisted – $165
